A London based charity counselling service

Wilfrid’s House are a London based registered charity that offer counselling to individuals, couples, and families for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement and more. Wilfrid’s House offer support to those who otherwise may be unable to seek the help that they need, they are a non-profit organisation and therefore, they ask for a minimum donation of £35 per counselling session. Wilfrid’s House also does work in schools and aims to provide good mental health support through pastoral staff training and support and in-house student counselling.

Wilfrid’s House, founded in 2016, is staffed by 30 volunteer counsellors (some in training and some already qualified) with a wide range of mental health expertise. Their 50-minute counselling sessions take place either in person in London, or over video call. You can fill out a registration form here to apply for counselling.

Wilfrid’s House were fundamental in enabling us to set up our own Counselling Service as we partnered with them, along with another organisation, for the initial launch of our service. Their counsellors worked with our beneficiaries in the first 6 months after our launch and we are so grateful to them for helping us to create the service. If you live in London  and would like face to face or online counselling, we would definitely recommend getting in touch with Wilfrid’s House.
