I work from home and these two beauties keep me company every single day, which is a such a comfort because it can get quite lonely. The Jack Russell Terrier is my parents' rescue dog and comes to me during the day when my parents are at work and she's so sweet and is great company for my Whippet. I've had him since he was a puppy and since I felt ready to adopt him a year and a half after losing my long-term partner. He's so funny and curious and wants to do absolutely everything with me, and I can't imagine how I'd be without him now. It's true when they say that you can rescue a dog, but don't be surprised if they rescue you right back.
