Kate is originally from Moscow, Russia, but has been living in various parts of England for 17 years now. She is currently a trainee French & Chinese teacher, having been a special needs teaching assistant before that, and loves working with young people. She is a huge fan of Rammstein, and dreams of having a pilot licence one day!

Kate has lived through three traumatic bereavements of loved ones between the ages of 20-24, including losing her best and oldest friend to suicide during her third year at university. All of this has shaped her profoundly, and has led her to working with Suicide&Co after going through the Counselling service here herself, and receiving incredible help.
