Griefworks is an app created by leading grief psychotherapist Julia Samuel who has spent the last thirty years supporting bereaved families. The Grief Works book, which has now been turned into an interactive app, aims to support you through your grief and help you manage your most painful emotions. Whilst these emotions can be hard to face and manage, it is important that they are dealt with; as if they are suppressed, they can impact your life in negative ways.

In order to receive the best and most tailored support, the app asks you to state who you are grieving and allows you to choose from the options of partner, parent, child, friend, sibling, unborn child, or to choose whether you are helping others through their grief or if you’re a therapist supporting clients. The app provides support whenever you need it, to help you navigate your grief or to help you support your loved ones who are grieving.

For £35.99 a year, you can access the complete toolkit on the Grief Works app which provides you with a 28-session course, access to 30+ tools, a daily journal and the opportunity to create routines to ground and soothe you when you need them to help to rebuild your life after loss. We would recommend this app if you would like access to expert help and tools for coming to terms with your loss, whether this be due to suicide or any other type of grief.
