My Dad

I wish you could have stayed longer to meet your beautiful granddaughter and watch me step into motherhood. I see glimpses of you in Evie, and I made sure to carry on our surname proudly in her name.

I hope you knew, when you left, just how much love I have for you, and how deeply your passing affected us all. Suicide was something I never thought would touch our family, but here we are. For you, Dad, I will always speak out about mental health and remind others how important it is to reach out and be heard.

You will always be in my heart, and I’ll keep your memory alive, especially through Pelina & Evie.
